St. David’s Episcopal Church was established as a mission in the western suburbs of Minneapolis and hired their first full time rector in 1954. For all of its life, St David’s has been at the leading edge of changes in the liturgy of the Episcopal Church and has founded many ministries that have grown, become self sustaining, and continue to provide important services to the community. St. David’s currently has an active membership of 350 communicants, a youth minister, a music director, and a modern worship space with recently updated education facilities. It is know for its warm, friendly environment and meaningful worship in the Episcopal tradition.
